Filippo Castellazzi

Filippo Castellazzi (it) is a guitar player based in The Netherlands, active as performer and as studio musician. Education: Master diploma in jazz guitar at the Amsterdam Conservatory.

He performed among others at: North sea jazz festival, Norths sea jazz festival Curacao, Aruba jazz festival, Nice jazz festival, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Blue note Milan, Bergamo jazz, Unbria jazz and many more.
He recorded among others with: Levi Silvanie, the BBC Philharmonic orchestra, Tineke Postma, Birgitte Lyregaard, Tino Tracanna, Roberto Cipelli (Paolo Fresu), Ben Littlewood, and many more.
You can hear his guitarplaying also in the award winning tv series: Call the Midwife (BBC) Muddle Earth (bbc), The Paradise (bbc), Peter and Wendy (iTv), Body Farm (bbc) and in the movies Love of my life, U jornu avanti, American Fango and many more.

Born in Khartoum, Sudan in 1989, singer Mo Ali got captivated by a picture of Bob Marley in his uncle’s bedroom when he was 10 years old. He started listening to cd’s of Bob Marley and watched videos of his live performances. He mimicked his movements and sang along to the lyrics.
